Backflow Preventers
Backflow preventers are devices that prevent contaminated water from flowing back into the drinking water protecting those within the building. There are several different types, the most common are RPZ (Reduced Pressure Zone), and Double Check valves. These both need to be tested and certified at least once a year by a licensed Cross Connection Control Device Inspector (CCCDI).
We here at A-Archer Sewer & Plumbing Service has a Cross Connection Control Device Inspector on staff that can install, test, certify, and or repair your RPZ, or Double Check devices.
